Mrs. Townsend's Class: Magical Journeys in History is a five-book series celebrating African American inventors.  For grades 3 through 6, the books take students on magical journeys introducing them to African Americans whose inventions had an impact on the world.

The stories contain valuable life lessons as they focus on teamwork, individual responsibility, problem solving and time management.
